Sasha Vujacic was born on March 8, 1984 in Maribor, Slovenia. He was drawn to the game of basketball by his father, Vaso- who is a basketball coach. He is of Serbian descent.
6 ft 7 in Vujacic, was picked up by the LA Lakers in the 2004 NBA draft as the 27th overall pick.
In 2008, Vujacic accepted a three year contract worth $15 million dollars from the Lakers. The youngster had impressed with a string of good performances.
