Rooney Mara's Low-Key Hollywood Outing

Never having been known as an attention-seeker, Rooney Mara was spotted trying to keep a low profile while out in West Hollywood, California on Friday afternoon (November 5). The 25-year-old looked cute and casual as she kept her head down while passing paparazzi during the west coast outing, currently spending time in Los Angeles along with her model sister Kate Mara. Previously obscure in terms of acting, Miss Mara became a well-known name after being nabbed for the coveted lead role in "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo". Talking about Rooney's selection to play Lisbeth Salander in the English version of the book-based flick, original Swedish star Noomi Rapace said she's pleased with director David Fincher's decision. “I don’t know her. I haven’t seen her,” Rapace recently told press. "I think that David Fincher is a great filmmaker, and he probably made a good choice.... I don’t think that people should ever know so much about an actor that they go into the theater and can't see the character."
